Barrie is Canadian by birth, has been resident in Trinidad for 25 years and gained Trinidad citizenship in 2001. Barrie’s 35 year career spans senior management and executive positions in technology and telecommunications companies, as well as independent management consultancy for local and regional financial services and for North American high-technology companies. Barrie has managed and consulted in a wide range of diverse business functions including information technology, business planning, marketing, brand management public relations, customer services, sales/business development, telecommunications network design, implementation and operations, and business expansion planning and implementation.
